Peter Pan and Julie Andrews? Thank you.

  • Berry Captain Crunch. Hands down.I could live off of cereal.
And bread. Soft  delicious bread.I could seriously live off of only bread for the rest of my life. Matthew 4:4 is the only thing keeping me from doing so.

  • I have an old soul, but a young heart
  • Ice cream is a must. Yogurtland is even better!!
  • I'm that person that will listen to a song on repeat for a couple of days, over and over and over and over, analyzing every word. And for those few days it's the best song ever written.
Then I forget about it entirely until months later.
  • Buying new art supplies always feels like Christmas morning.
  • I don't care about salmonella- I love cookie dough.
  •  I am either  REALLY  HAPPY, or pretty down in the dumps.
  •  I'm an all or nothing kind of girl. When I do something I give it 100%.
But I am no good at balancing my life...
  • Call me sentimental, but I thrive off of happy endings. Whenever a story I've invested time in ends on a sour note I feel cheated. Disney Pixar movies are the best.
  • I like talking to strangers, and meeting new people. Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet. ...Or mass murderers...but I'll take that chance.
  • If I know a song I know:
the title, the artist, most likely all of the lyrics, and the overall meaning and statement.
  • There better be Cafe Rio in heaven because their Pork Barbacoa Salad
is the very definition of perfection.
  •  Shakespeare is beautiful.
  • Oh, and just as a word for the wise: Don't speak in a British, Scottish, Irish or Australian accent. I just might fall in love with you.
  • I grew up a complete and total tom boy.So forgive me, girly girls are pretty foreign to me.
  • Up until 10th grade I didn't know how to do a normal 3 stranded braid. Now I've taught myself too many braids to count. Now I like to consider myself a braid guru.
  • Ben Rector and Sara Bareilles
  • I remember the most obscure tiny things, but I have a hard time remembering the important things. And rather than remembering the specifics I remember the feelings and impressions I had.
  • I'm going to be a dancer in another life. (If you've seen me dance you know it's definitely not this life.) But I am in love with watching skilled dancers who love what they do.
  • Working with negative numbers always makes me feel sad.
  • I am extremely sentimental. I have a filing cabinet filled with mementos. Stories I wrote in Kindergarten, receipts from good days, gum wrappers from Junior high, rocks I found on a hike with friends...The randomest little things, and everything has a memory attached.
  • And with that in mind, I'll let you read between the lines about how clean my room is.
  • My family is the best there is. They're wild and crazy and quirky. They drive me crazy, and yet they are constantly inspiring me. They're great.
  • I have the greatest friends. For some reason Heavenly Father saw it fit to place the sweetest and best people in my life. And hey, I'm not complaining!!
  • I believe that dandelions and daisies are the best flowers, and General Conference is a holiday.
  • I love to blog stalk. I love the insights I get and the things I learn about the bloggers.I just love blog stalking. As well as blog stalkers.
    1) It makes me feel special
    2) It makes me feel not alone in the stalking endeavor.
    (Bless my heart...
    )

Hey, that's a pretty good list.

Just trying to distract myself with things that make me-me,
     and some happy thoughts.
    Much better than complainer grumbles.
♪♫ These are a few of my favorite things...♪♫
Then again, I guess thinking a happy thought is also Peter Pan.
    Which I love.
    So that works, too.
Ah, there's a lovely title idea.
    I'm out.
Any happy optimistic thoughts would be lovely.
    Comment below VVV

Yup, I'm in love with my new blog template.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

I'm a why person

finally brave enough to post.

I really want to blog.
I have for awhile.
(I'm not just being slothful.)
I really want to tell you all about my life.

But I REALLY hate on my blog posts when I'm
complaining and grumpy
and... vulnerable.

I want to be happy!
I want to be so happy it's contagious.
So optimistic and at peace that any trial that comes my way
I will preserver with a smile.
The type of happiness that people just want to be around.
True, genuine, and real.

But... I'm not.
And if we're playing the pointing fingers game
that's probably my own fault.

  • So this is the part where I can keep listing all the things
    "I wish"
  • I can talk about how I want to be better
    and I really am trying
  • I can talk cryptically about
the crummy things going on in my life
  • I can end on an optimistic note

The tricky thing about planning things out in advance is that it leaves too much room for disappointment. And if you plan everything down from every reaction to the very slightest movement. . .
when it goes different than planned, It doesn't matter how good it went:
it's still a let down.
And when you're neglected and don't get the reaction you keep prompting for. . .
That doesn't feel nice either.
Its a tricky thing not knowing what to say or when to keep your mouth closed.. Whether or not to barge in or to keep to yourself backstage..
Its a melancholy thing to see a frown you can't change. . . Its even worse when the frown is your fault.

Today would've been nicer if everyone had a script. . .
I'd like one too.

life has been an utter delight

Fast forward from where we left off
waking up without a care with the sun dancing through my blinds
laughing till it hurt
through endless summer nights
under that bright sweet moon.

Crazy to think that same moon is up in the sky tonight.
It's a full moon.
Radiant and bright.
With the stars reflecting as though it's a giant disco ball.
I'm in love with the moon.
Always have been,
always will be.

A lot has changed.
A lot is the same.
Life's been a rocky road.
It's been a little cold at times,
but there's always chocolate,
and there's been a few great nuts along the way.
Overall, I can't complain. :)

Sorry I didn't have anything worthwhile to say over the Summer.
...Not to be confused with the idea that I suddenly do now.
It's just time to carry on with this record again.
No matter how jumbled it may be.

Ya know, I was thinking this morning.
The sky is really just the angel's sketchbook.
I love looking at their doodles in the clouds.
They sure do have a sense of humor sometimes.
I love watching the sunsets as they experiment with color.
This morning was especially beautiful.

Sometimes we're just really super blessed.

I think it's pretty crazy how much power our little noggin's have.
There comes a time every day
where I get to decide what kind of day it is.
Some days it's as though I do a little tally
of the good and bad things that have happened so far,
and whichever side has more
predetermines the type of day the rest will be.

But most days it just takes one thing.
Waking up late, a headache, or just simply being tired.
Just one little pesky thing can tip the scales.
And once your mind is made up that it's a bad day
it quite easily
-as well as very quickly-
becomes progressively worse and worse.

It's become quite apparent to me
just how much it works the same way
when you choose to be happy.

Ever since I was little,
instead of wishing us a good day
on the way out my dad has always said,
"Make it a great day!"

No doubt, being happy is a choice.
Because, let's face it.
We're ALL tired.
A vast majority of us are sick right now.
We all have something that's weighing us down,
and some loads are heavier than others.

There's a lot of valid arguments to have a bad day.
I've had my fair share of bad days.
I think it's okay to have a bad day every once in awhile.

I'm not saying every day is a piece of pie,
or that you have to be some puppet
with a smile plastered on your face.
But I know wallowing in self-pity
and worrying about things I have no control over
definitely doesn't make me feel any better,
that's for sure.

I only say that because..
Well, I've been guilty of that lately.
It's easy to slip into that way of life.
It was nice to be reminded again how to be happy.

Here's a little glimpse of where this is coming from:
Last Wednesday I woke up late.
Not only did I wake up late,
but I woke up sick.
Not only did I wake up sick,
Charlie Brown (the funnest show ever) had closed the night before.
I got to school late looking slightly hobo-ish and glum
and as I walked to the front doors of the school
I was greeted by my favorite janitor.

He was outside singin' this cheery little tune.
I didn't recognize it, but it was one of those old jolly ones.
He greeted me with a smile,
opened the door for me,
and wished me a great day.

BAM!

I was faced with the choice.
How could it not be a good day???
I wish every day I was greeted like that.
It may sound silly,
but it really made me smile.
And the whole day turned around from there.
Despite the first set-backs,
it really was an awesome day.

Lately I've also been reminded how happy service makes me.
Sounds silly, sounds basic, may sound self-righteous, but  r e a l l y .
I was being a self-centered scumbag
and then a friend prompted me to help out another friend
and BAM!

Why is the Lord so good?
Serving is just like a double wamey.
It's a win-win situation.

How could I forget that?
I don't even know.
It's easy for me to forget the basics sometimes.

So, I've made my choice already.
This week is one fantastic week!
I'm making it one.
This Senior year is going to ROCK!!!
Junior year was the worst.
My attitude was the worst-
I expected it to be the worst-
So obviously it was.
I have high hopes for this year.
It's already looking promising.
I am going to make it the best year yet!!

Because if I am going to be doing something,
why not give it 100%?
If I'm alive tomorrow
why simply survive?
Why not live?

It's good to be back.

I should research more so I actually know what's going on, but I'm too tired right now. Hooray for all week in the blazing sun. Hooray for being a Princess.

So apparently Blogger is dying July 1st.
I'm not entirely sure what that even means,
but Bloglovin is taking over when it comes to following blogs.
That I do know for sure.
It's actually pretty cool because it categorizes blogs.

 Know what that means??
Art blog stalking made even easier!

Head over HERE to keep following my blog!

haily.
P.S. Wait....
Does this mean I have to go save my forty million angsty drafts so that they don't die with blogger??
Yikes.
I think I just admitted to having my Drafts box filled with angsty posts.
Well, aren't you glad you didn't have to see them??
Remember those many months when I didn't post?
Yeah, let's just say Junior year was a real demon sometimes.
Yeah, be grateful. ;)
Much love,
Haily.
(Even though I already signed this post.)
It's whatever.

6.15.13

The   w  i n d    blew our   cares    aw a y
and   whispered   through the field.
The stars illuminated every answer,
and suddenly the city didn't mean a thing.

Not the faint view of traffic, stoplights,
or even the fireworks that blazed the satin sky.
They all became a blur of distractions
and in that moment we were free.

It was then that I couldn't help but smile
because right then and there I remembered
What a wonderful thing it is to be alive.

.Haily.

][ b r a v e ][

Mmmmm...
(That has seemed to become my go-to sound as I fumble with sorts of beginnings.)

CHANGE.
I'm going through a lot of changes.
I love self directed change
vs change that's forced upon you.
I'm getting some things straight.
I've had new friends come into my life,
and it's been greatly appreciated.
I love them to death!!

I fit in with a lot of different groups,
and I really like that,
but in the past it's left me feeling rather..
lonely.

Don't get me wrong,
it's nice to have a lot of different people to talk to,
but it can be hard at times
when there isn't that one person
to confide in.

Things are changing,
and I am amazed.
The Lord is good.
I look around at the people I'm surrounded by,
and I can't help but smile.
This Summer and Senior year look promising. :)

HONESTY.
This quest started at the beginning of Summer after my Root Canal.
While I was on Lortab I said some pretty honest things.
As well as a ton of nonsense,
but that's besides the point. :)

As I think I've mentioned before on here,
I really look up to people who are brave enough to be
real,
down to earth,
honest,
& genuine.
When you talk to people like that it's a conversation full of understanding.
Filled with my favorite realization of,
"I'm not the only one?!"
It's like your souls become friends.

A person like that is quite rare.
It's extremely opposite of my stubborn nature
to allow myself to be vulnerable like that,
but that's something I'm trying to get over will get over
because that is apart of the person I want to become.

It's a work in progress.
Sometimes I approach it by simply removing my filter,
which, for the most part is a really good thing.
But then there are some times when I'm a little TOO honest.
And, well,
it appears that most judgements I should just keep to myself.
And again I've come to the conclusion that being tactful would be a very useful skill to have.

CONFESSION.
I recently learned that I really really LOVE reading.

Looking back, I used to read in Elementary school to be impressive.
I would skim through books,
and I took great pride in being the fastest reader.
Sure, I got absolutely nothing out of it,
but I was fast!
Junior high and High School I only read because it was required.
That consisted of mostly skimming as well.
Not much depth came out of that.

In English this spring we read The Great Gatsby.
I absolutely LOVE that book.
(I know, it should be in past tense, but I still feel a great love towards that book and feel it should stay present tense.)
The writing style and symbolism was utterly brilliant.
I always left class thinking about it,
and I just wanted to read it on my own outside of class.
(Which, I must admit, was quite rare.)

I'm sad and quite embarrassed to admit it's taken me this long.
Isn't that a pathetic thing to admit so late in the game?
What can I say,
Sometimes I'm a late bloomer.
I'm reading "My Name Is Asher Lev" right now, and I am thriving.
Now I feel like reading every book ever written.

I've been really bad about reading my scriptures lately,
but I started again this week and it's been really nice.
I can feel a huge difference in my day.
A difference I've missed.

I've decided if I want to build my relationship with my Savior
I need to dedicate more time to Him.
I want to make my scripture study more effective and come to life.
I'd really love some advice.
 Comment below.
What's something you do to make your scripture study more meaningful?
Oo, and while we're at it,
Do you have any other book suggestions?
Comment and let me know!
Really.
Seriously.
Honestly.
I beg of you.
Yeah.

I love you all! Even if I don't know you I love you.
It makes sense, just go with me on this one.
Stay strong and rock on,
Haily. :)

P.S. In case you're wondering:
I LOVE SUMMER.
I don't want to ever go back to school or snow ever again.

the best compliment in my LIFE!!!

Today I went to the Beehive Home (Resting Home for Elderly Sisters)
to give a Spiritual Thought at their Sacrament meeting,
and this is where I met Beverley.

At the end I went up to talk to her and she said,
"Ohhh... your hair is beautiful!! I gotta stand up and see this!!!
....Oo, your hair is GORGEY!!" :)

 I couldn't stop laughing!!

Later, as I went to leave she asked,
"We're friends now, right??" :)

 ...
Yes Beverley, we are definitely friends. :)
.Haily.

hesitant

You see,

When I told you about my insecurities
and when I shared my doubts about my future plans

I was hoping for reassuring words.

To learn that you, of all people, didn't believe in me

made me take a step back.

Should I keep an open mind,
Or should I stay focused on this dream?

>looking ahead>

In a hundred years the internet will hold literally
millions of peoples' life stories.
From Blogs,
to Facebook,
to Twitter,
to Tumbler,
to everything that's yet to come.
You'll be able to trace a person's life
from their birth to their death
via the millions of postings they, and others, made on the internet.
There will be countless sources of dead man's words and hopes and dreams.
Every time I see pictures of newborns on Facebook
I just think that this person's entire life will most likely be
chronicled on the internet,
and the history lover in me is fascinated by this.
History is remembered by those who take the chance to record it.
And I am a part of that legacy.

^looking up^

Life is {HARD}!
Life is crazy...
But life is good.

There's been lots of exciting things lately.
And... tons of JUNK.
Opposition in all things, baby!

So yeah,
sorry for my absence.
Negative mood = not wanting to write
My journal took the brunt of the bad days.
Which is probably a good thing.

I've been thinking quite a lot about the Law of Attraction lately.
Your thoughts truly have a tremendous power over your future.
What you think you are capable of
is exactly what you get.
So think BIG.
Because seriously:
Whatever you want,
Whatever you are willing to work hard for,
He will help you have.

Think about that for a second..
It's AMAZING.

He wants you to do great things.
You're His child.
Think about it.
Obviously you have amazing potential.
Listen, agency isn't just about being able to choose.
It's the power of your thoughts becoming a reality.

Whether you think you can
Or whether you think you can't,
YOU'RE RIGHT.

That's something that is reiterated as truth over and over and over again in my life.

Right now it's with Art,
With Special Needs Mutual,
And with Lacrosse.

Things I never thought I could do.

Look up.
What can He help you with right now?

Right now He's given me more than I can handle.
The stress has piled up too high.
And really, you can only swim upstream for so long
Until you start to drown.

The days are long.
The journey is hard.
And it's easy to lose yourself out there.
It's easy to feel alone.

Rock after rock is being thrown on top of me.
And it's leaving me pretty exhausted and hopeless
Trying to dig myself back out,
And trying to pick up the pieces..

It has taken this long to break down my stubborn soul.
My stubborn, stubborn soul.

And I know for a fact
That I can't do this anymore.
I can't do this on my own.
There's NO possible way.
But.. I don't have to.
Life wasn't made to be
a competition,
a race,
or something that we have to do
all on our own.
He's here for us.

I don't just want the Savior in my life,
I NEED Him.
It has taken me this long to learn
just how much of a necessity He is in my life.
He's not just my spare tire.
He's my becoming my steering wheel.

--

It is my goal to one day paint my Savior.
 But, as you can imagine,
It is a little intimidating.

In all of the pictures of Christ
It doesn't look like Him to me.
There's always parts of a painting that feels like Him.
Parts of the depictions feel familiar.
But it's not all the way right.
I will find Him.
That is my dream as an artist.

Lately I've been searching Him
Through other studying other artist's depictions of Him.
I'm not there yet,
But I'm learning.
And as I sketch
I find little glimmers of Him.

Mm... I just love this Gospel.
Prayers. are. answered.
Today I'm thankful for tough times,
good food,
and the good people I know.

I guess what I'm really trying to say is
Stay Strong and Rock On!
.Haily.

P.S. This wasn't where I saw this post going,
But I started typing, and this all just came out.
More to come.
Love you!

pushing through

Lacrosse Conditioning ended.
Whew!
Every school day in January for a couple hours.
They worked us HARD!!
But it's good.
It's helped me a ton.
Not just physically,
but mentally
and emotionally.

First they give us the challenge.
Your eye sockets kinda fall out of your head for a second
just thinking about how many you have to do.
But a spirit of optimism kicks in,
and you try to fake confidence
as you wrap your head around the crazy obstacle.

It starts off not too bad,
but quickly you realize how much farther you have to go.
And you keep pushing through
as fatigue kicks in.

Keep going.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Don't think about the numbers.
Just do it.

And then you get to this point
where the tension and pain and rapid heart rate
is just too much.

You can't do it.
There's no way.
GIVE UP.
GIVE UP.
GIVE UP.
GIVE UP.
GIVE UP.

your body cries in pain.
And your mind quickly agrees.
Every muscles is longing for just a minute
-just a second-
of release.
To walk.
To give up.
It's all too much.

There's not a chance in the world
that  y o u  can do it.
You're not an athlete.
Stop trying.
You've done good enough.
This just wasn't made for you.

 And I believe it.
Why shouldn't I?
I'm not an athlete.
Never have been,
but I want to be.
I'm just not cut out for this.

Just stop running.

[And...
It's usually about this time
when my medallion flings up from around my neck
and hits me in the face.
Just enough to remind me.]
And my racing heart
gasping for air
whispers

Hey, you can do it.
You know you who are.
You know who you can turn to for help.

And so,
I trust it.
I trust Him.
And I talk to Him
to distract my sore muscles
and I tell my aching legs to keep going.
And the intensity grows
and grows and grows and grows and grows and grows...

The Lord is my strength,
The Lord is my shield.
The Lord is my strength,
The Lord is my shield.

I tend to repeat to myself over and over again.

Keep going.
Keep going.
Keep going.
Keep going.

Last lap.
The finish line is not too far out of sight.
My pace quickens,
and the adrenaline is thriving.

He's helping me.
There's a new surge of strength,
and the goal isn't too far out of sight.

GO
GO
GO
GO

GO
GO

GO!!!!

And soon the world around me is only vibrations.
The track becomes a blur,
And I am a bullet.
Unstoppable.

the paradox

"The paradox
of our time in history is that
we have taller buildings
but shorter tempers,
w i d e r   F r e e w a y s,
but narrower viewpoints.

We spend more,
but have less,
we buy more,
but enjoy less.

 We have bigger houses
and smaller families,
more conveniences,
but less time.

We have more degrees
but less sense,
more knowledge,
but less judgment,
more experts,
yet more problems,
more medicine,
but less wellness.

We drink too much,
smoke too much,
Spend too recklessly,
 laugh too little,
drive too fast,
get too angry,
stay up too late,
get up too tired,
read too little,
watch TV too much,
                                                                             and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions
but reduced our values.
We talk too much,
 love too seldom,
and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living,
but not a life.
We've   a d d e d  y e a r s  to life
n o t  l i f e  to years.
We've been
all the way to the moon and back
but have trouble
crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.

We conquered outer space
but not inner space.
We've done larger things,
but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air,
but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom,
but not our prejudice.

We write more,
but learn less.
We plan more,
but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush,
                                                                         but not to wait.

We build more computers to hold more information,
to produce more copies than ever,
but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods
and slow digestion,
big men
and small character,
steep profits
and shallow relationships.

These are the days of two incomes
but more divorce,
fancier houses,
                              but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips,
 disposable diapers,
throwaway morality,
 one night stands,
overweight bodies,
and pills that do everything
from cheer, to quiet, to kill.

It is a time when
there is much in the showroom window
 and nothing in the stockroom.
A time when technology can bring this letter to you,
and a time when you can choose
either to share this insight,
or to just hit delete.

Remember
to spend some time with your loved ones,
because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember,
say a kind word to someone
who looks up to you in awe,
because that little person soon will grow up
 and leave your side.

Remember,
to give a warm hug
to the one next to you,
because that is the only treasure
you can give with your heart
and it doesn't cost a cent.

  Remember, to say,
'I love you'
to your partner and your loved ones,
but most of all mean it.
A kiss and an embrace
will mend hurt when it comes
from deep inside of you.

Remember
to hold hands and cherish the moment
for someday that person
will not be there again.
Give time to love,
give time to speak!
And give time to share the
precious thoughts in your mind.

And always remember,
life is not measured
by the number of breaths we take,
but by those moments
that take our breath away."

-George Carlin
George Carlin's wife died early in 2008 and George followed her, dying in July 2008. It is ironic George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent and so very appropriate.

the chase

I haven't ever thought about it much before.
Until I read an article that said,
"But who are we chasing?
What are we running after?"
And my thoughts catapulted elsewhere.

Every night for as long as I can remember
Every night my dreams revolve
around the exact same theme:
Hiding.

My dreams are pretty bizarre.
Some of them are hilarious.
Most of them are terrifying.

I go through different phases:
dreams I think are real,
and lucid dreams I know aren't real.
(Those are the dreams I have some control over.)

I can usually choose where I escape to,
(It usually ends up in the vast mountainside.)
I can chose who I try and hide with,
(Which is why my friends always get wrangled into every dream.)
I can choose who I run with,
(Although I usually don't want to get someone mixed up in it with me.)
I can request obstacles to get in the chaser's way.
(Which sometimes works.)
But that's about it.

No matter what the dream is,
lucid or vividly real,
I can always fly.
I go from place to place.
I go through some little happy moment,
and then it is abruptly brought to a close-
When I am found.
And then I seek solace elsewhere.

In the dream I know I'm being chased
Because I did something wrong.
But what is it?
I never have asked.
I never know.

I've never been captured
without being able to escape.
But lately it's getting closer and closer.

Sometimes I'll even fly miles away
over the mountain side,
Where I am finally free from running.
I land in places where they need my help.
I'm the only one who can save them.
But the minute that I start to help
He has found me.
And I leave them helpless
As I abandon for safety.

The entire night
I'm terrified.
I try to escape.
I try to hide.
I try to start over.
But no matter what I do
I am always on the run.
Chased by my past.

And when I wake up,
The chase continues.

and now we're in the early teenage years... again!

So now that it's 2013
does that we're going to start acting like bratty tweens again?
I mean, thirteen is a tough year. I remember. In some ways it doesn't seem that long ago.
But even with it's challenges, thirteen was also pretty awesome!
I grew five inches that summer.
I started doing plays, and fell in love with performing.
I had a couple embarrassing crushes on guys.
I was on Student Council.
My sister got married.
I first got a facebook and decided to add the whole world as friends.
I made it into Treble Trios and thrived off of harmonizing.
I was in Studio Art and Drawing and started a little spark that has grown into a flame.
For the first time, I became great friends with my brother Adam.
I made a lot of new friends. Most of which I'm still close with today.
All in all, thirteen was pretty great.

And so far, 2013 is gearing up to be pretty amazing, as well.

[Ringing out the New Year with sledding at 1 AM. An old tradition of ours.]

Wishing you the very best in 2013, friends. And thanks for making 2012 so incredible!
.Haily. :)

heres to a fresh start

2013.
Weird.

17.
Weirder.

My Birthday turned out awesome!
Thanks to my amazing family
and such sweet friends.

17 doesn't feel any different.
It's not like the leap from non-dating to dating
or teen to adult.
It's the in between buffer zone.

But it's the sound of 17.
It has a weird ring to it.
It feels.. OLD.

 When I was in Kindergarten
I remember clearly
that weird feeling towards those big High Schoolers.
Never, I repeat, ever
Would I become a High Schooler.
The whole growing up thing never really hit me.

I liked getting older each year,
and I was getting taller and taller,
but I never really processed the fact
that I would be one of those big kids one day.

5th grade hit.
My sister was in High School.
She was SO old in my eyes.
I idolized her and all of her friends.

8th grade hit.
My brother was in High School.
 That was mind blowing.

Well,
next year I will graduate from High School.
 WAHH WHA..
What?!

Whaat on We Heart It. http://weheartit.com/entry/47576666

Time is proving itself to be a weird thing.
[If you look at that last gif for too long it looks like she's saying "Brandy"]

Moving on,
I really want to do this now.
I cant can't for the adventures ahead.

Lacrosse is starting up soon.
Soon as in THIS WEEK.
Definitely excited about that.
I'm excited to start running
and conditioning again.
I'm definitely out of shape.
Unless you count round as a shape.
Then, I'm most certainly in shape.

 That whole homework thing?
I still have a lot of it.

So,
peace out
.Haily.

Go out and enjoy the snow!
